The good weather has arrived so I now have permission to use my new camera bag (top photo). I am now practising with Photoshop & shooting in RAW format and these are my first attempts. Methlick Church and Colliston harbour

Seaton Cliffs near Arbroath. This photo was taken with the camera in auto mode. From now on I will be shooting in manual mode and in RAW format. From listening to club members this is the way to go. 

Camera Club Evening

We are showing 3 images at next Mondays meeting and I am struggling to decide which of the above to show so any advice would be helpful.

Hornfleur

These photos were taken in the small town of Hornfleur in northern France. Another amazing place with a small harbour surrounded by cafes, shops and street market.

France

I am fortunate to have friends with houses in South West France that I can visit. The village houses are constructed of a very creamy/buttery coloured stone and pan tile roofs which make interesting subjects. I also like the slightly distressed look of the windows and balconies of French town houses. These photos were taken a few years ago using a comapct digital camera.

Engleberg

These are 2 photos I took in Engleberg, Switzerland in March 2011. This alpine village is one of the most stunning places I have visited and I will hopefully be returning again later this year for more photo opportunities
